His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has fulfilled an electoral commitment to the Muslim community in Akweteman. As part of the NDC campaign promises the president has commission a newly ultramodern constructed Akweteman Mosque to serve musilms within the community.
The ceremony, held on Thursday 29th January, 2026 was graced by the National Chief Imam Shake Shaributu and other political figures of the NDC. This milestone underscores the President’s commitment to honoring his promises.
