SUNYANIMANHENE, DONATES 100 BAGS OF CEMENT TOWARDS SUSEC,YEAR OF RETURN 2027 CLINIC PROJECT

The Omanhene of the Sunyani Traditional Area, Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, has donated 100 bags of cement to support the Sunyani Senior High School (SUSEC) Year of Return 2027 Clinic Project.
The donation was made when members of the SUSEC Year of Return 2027 Organising Committee paid a courtesy call on the traditional ruler at his palace to formally brief him on the initiative and seek his blessings.
Presenting the cement, the Sunyanimanhene described SUSEC as an institution close to his heart, stressing that the school belongs to the traditional area and, by extension, to him. He pledged his continuous support for the project from the foundation stage through to completion.
Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II commended the coordinators for what he described as a bold and visionary initiative aimed at improving healthcare delivery for students.

“I’m not on the throne for personal gains, these are some of the things I want to see in Sunyani” he said.
According to him, the construction of a clinic on campus will not only ensure quality healthcare services for students but also create employment opportunities for health professionals upon its completion.
As part of the visit, the committee presented the Omanhene with the official “Homecoming 2027” T-shirt and an invitation to grace the Year of Return celebrations.
The SUSEC Year of Return 2027 project is expected to mobilise old students and stakeholders to contribute towards the development of the school, with the clinic project being one of its flagship interventions.
