EMOTIONAL MOMENT, AS BERIMA SYDNEY HONOURS LATE EBONY AT NAUGHTY SATURDAY IN SUNYANI.

Sensational Ghanaian hiplife musician, Berima Sydney delivered an emotional tribute to the late singer, Priscilla Kwarteng, popularly known as Ebony, during the “Naughty Saturday” event held over the weekend in Sunyani.
Sydney paused his performance to reminisce about the late artiste and thrilled patrons with a rendition of Ebony’s hit song “Hustle,” drawing loud applause from the audience before exiting the stage.
Sunday, January 8, 2026, marked exactly eight years since Ebony’s tragic death following a fatal accident on her way to Accra after a family visit to Sunyani. The tribute was therefore seen by many as a touching way of honouring one of Ghana’s most celebrated female musicians.

In another development, Berima Sydney, who performed for free at the third edition of Naughty Saturday, joined organisers to donate proceeds from the event to the Compassion Is Love in Action Orphanage at Yawhima, a suburb of Sunyani.
The lead organiser, Mr. Samuel Arko Burdett, popularly known as DJ Naughty, expressed excitement over supporting the orphanage for the third consecutive year. He also thanked Mr. Ransford Antwi, CEO of Suncity Radio, Suncity Imperial Lodge and Madam Vera Enyonam, CEO of Ericose Limited Company in Sunyani for their continuous support.

DJ Naughty further commended the MCs and DJs who supported the event, including DJ Khalifa, MC KMJ of Joy Prime TV, MC Quest, and Mr. Opoku Agyeman of 4K Graphix.
The night also featured a thrilling performance by fast-rising Nigerian artiste Kenny Exy, who treated patrons to songs including “Control”, “Doo Doo and Wonder” in collaboration with DJ Naughty.
