The Executive Director of the National Commission on Culture, Mr. Wakefield Wisdom Ackuaku, together with Management call on Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene ahead of 75th Anniversary.
To strengthen collaboration for cultural development, Celebrating leadership and strengthening partnerships the visit congratulated Dr. Frank Amoakohene on his appointment and reinforced ties between the Kumasi Cultural Centre and the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC).
Mr. Wakefield Wisdom Ackuaku commended Dr. Frank Amoakohene for his exemplary leadership and achievements, assuring him of the Kumasi Cultural Centre’s full support for culture- and tourism-related events. He also appealed to the Minister to facilitate the completion of the Apatakesie and Amphitheatre facilities and informed him of the Centre’s upcoming 75th anniversary, inviting RCC’s local and international guests to experience the Centre’s rich cultural assets and position the Ashanti Region as Africa’s cultural hub.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene praised the National Commission on Culture and the Centre’s contributions to cultural preservation, reaffirmed support for key projects, and called for collaboration on AshantiFest and the Centre’s upcoming 75th anniversary.
